Air Duct Repair
Air Duct Repair for Leaks, Gaps, and Damage
A disconnected duct in the attic or a crushed run in the crawlspace can leave a room without air and send your money straight outside.
We locate and repair damaged ductwork so the air your system produces actually reaches your living space.

Common duct problems we find
Flex duct sags and kinks over time, joints separate when tape adhesive fails, and ducts get stepped on or crushed during other home projects. In crawlspaces, pests and moisture can tear insulation and damage duct liners.
Many duct problems are easy to fix once found. We inspect accessible runs, check airflow at each register to find the weak spots, then reconnect, reseal, re-support, or replace damaged sections.

Air Duct Repair questions
Can’t I just use duct tape?
Standard cloth duct tape dries out and fails, especially in hot attics. We use mechanical fasteners and mastic or foil tape rated for HVAC use.
How do you find leaks in ducts I can’t see?
We start with airflow readings at each register. Rooms getting far less air than expected point us to the problem run.
Is repair or replacement better?
If damage is limited to a few sections, repair makes sense. If ducts are old, widely damaged, or poorly designed, replacement is often the better value.
Can you repair ducts in a tight crawlspace?
Yes. Crawlspace duct work is common in Cape May County homes and we work in them regularly.
