Ductless Mini-Split Maintenance
Mini-Split Deep Cleaning and Maintenance
Rinsing the filters isn’t enough. Over time, dust and moisture build up on the blower wheel and coil inside every mini-split, and that buildup causes odors, leaks, and weak airflow.
Our deep cleaning service gets inside the unit to remove it, then checks the system so it runs like it did when it was new.

What’s actually inside your indoor unit
Mini-split indoor heads pull moisture out of the air, and that dampness on the coil and blower wheel is an ideal place for mold and biofilm. In humid coastal homes it builds up faster. Eventually the blower wheel gets coated, airflow drops, and the unit can start spitting water or smelling musty.
We protect your wall and floor with a cleaning bag, then wash the coil and blower wheel with coil cleaner and rinse water, flush the drain line, and clean the outdoor unit. Afterward we check operation in each mode.

Ductless Mini-Split Maintenance questions
How often should a mini-split be deep cleaned?
Once a year is a good rule for units that run most of the year. Seasonal rentals or lightly used units may go longer, but if you notice odors, don’t wait.
Can I clean it myself?
You should rinse the filters monthly during heavy use. Cleaning the coil and blower wheel safely requires disassembly and special equipment to protect the electronics, so that part is best left to us.
Is the cleaning messy?
No. We use a cleaning bag under the unit and drop cloths to contain the water and debris.
Can you clean multiple heads in one visit?
Yes. Let us know how many indoor units you have when you call so we can plan enough time.
